Soaked oats and cracked wheat breakfast porridge, figs & Rainer cherries. Simple yet gourmet (thanks to the fancy fruits). I miss figs so much, they are a Croatian staple, and those cherries are just fabulous!

RECIPE:
1/4 cup old fashioned oats
1/4 cup cracked wheat
1 cup nut milk of choice (I used Almond Breeze vanilla unsweetened)
Few drops vanilla stevia
2-3 tbsp coconut sugar
2 tbsp cacao
2 tbsp cacao nibs
Few hazelnuts or nuts of choice

Mix the grains with milk, let it sit, and add flavors as desired once soft.
I don’t like soaking my oats overnight cause they get too gooey. For oats, 10min is enough for me, with wheat make it about 30min. Wheat has a nice nutty flavor to change things up.

Great recipe except for the stevia. I would suggest using organic sugar or agave syrup, if more sweetness is desired,...
